Programs
PACT develops a variety of programs in the areas of police, courts and corrections. Our programs focus on educating the community and developing their potential to influence these institutions, and programs that directly impact individuals (adults and children) already involved, or with the potential to become entangled with the criminal justice system. Current priority programs include:
- Self-Help Inspired People, LLC - For profit partnership focused on incubating entrepreneurial projects and teaching business management to ex-offenders.
- Prison Ministry Network (PMN) - This program has been revitalized and will be focused on growing prison ministries and communicating advocacy issues.
- Community Organizing 101 - Currently investigating partners for 2009/2010 classes
- "In Studio" - Video news/documentary programing developed in house, focused on justice issues. Will be utilizing ex-offender graduates from Community Organizing 101 and others, trained as part of our partnership with Kennedy-king College. Click here to see photos of the class in action.
